C*C*Choices New Collections

Photos of my latest C*C*Choices Collection. Each piece is distinctive, unique and of the highest quality in that they are "one of a kind" creations designed from semi precious stones and components that I have hand selected from all around the world.

My Photo
Name:
Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Ever since I can remember I have been impassioned by art, fashion, jewelry design & semi precious stones. Four years ago I decided to pursue my life long dream: to marry my passions into a sustainable business. This past year my designs officially launched as the “Feature Fashion Story” which aired 3 times on “Entertainment Spotlight” CTV/CFCF 12. My journey into jewelry design started with 3 years of Silver Smithing courses at the Visual Arts Center in Montreal. Via word of mouth and shows held throughout Canada I have successfully built a loyal client following. Realizing that my “hobby” had potentiality I traveled to Australia and Thailand broadening my knowledge in unique ethnic design. This trip became the defining moment in my career as a jewelry designer. I was enthralled and hugely inspired by antique silver pieces and eclectic stones from all over the world: Thailand, Afghanistan, India & China to name a few. Each of my creations is an exclusive design with it’s own name and unique story about it's source of inspiration, be it a trip, a person, a moment, a life event etc. Should you be interested in more info pls email me...ps I also do remakes thanks!!

C*C*Choices Distinctive Spring 2006 Collection

"Shooting Star" SOLD

Crystal Quartz and Hill Tribe Silver

Crystal Quartz Clear: Known as "Ice of Eternity." All-around healer and amplifier. Capable of dispersing white light into the seven spectral colors. Aligns one's consciousness with the electromagnetic forces of the universe, helping each of us find our own inner light that connects us with the One Light. Magnifiers of psychic and healing energies. Used to help focus and amplify one's thoughts or intentions.

Silver: Invocation, love, psychism, dreams, peace, protection, travel, money.
Silver is the moon's metal. Because it is found in its pure form, it was one of the first metals to be used by humans. The metal's beauty and scarcity caused it to be fashioned into divine images and offering pieces.

"Remembrance" SOLD

Picture Jasper, Brown Jade, Antique Silver

Jasper: is stabilizing. It will help to reduce insecurity, fear and guilt. Strengthens liver, gallbladder, bladder. Powerful healer; main impact on physical body.

Jade: has been called "colic stone", "spleen stone" and "stone of the loins". It is said that by tying jade to the arm, stones in the kidneys can be expelled. The ancient Greeks used this mineral for healing ailments of the eyes. Wearing Jade helps the body to heal itself while working on the underlying, nonphysical problems which cause the disease in the first place.
Jade is a stone of much history, it has been a part of oriental philosophy for centuries. Within Japan and China, it is considered to be the most precious of all stones. There are five values credited to Jade, these are: clarity, modesty, courage, justice and wisdom. Jade does come in many colors, among them are dark green, apple green, black, lavender, orangy-brown and sometimes a whitish color. Black Jade which we are speaking of in this article is a wonderful stone for protection, as well bringing one a feeling of tranquility even in the most of difficult times. By holding a jade stone in your hand, you may experience a feeling of serenity, for others black jade brings out wisdom which is hidden in each of us.
Jade is a wonderful stone in all areas and an important one for your healing kit.

Wow! Cheryl, This is the most fabulous necklace I've ever seen. What amazing colors in the beads! And the antique silver beads are just perfect with it. I can see where this one would go great with jeans and a top on a casual day or would be a standout in the most formal settings too. How brilliant!

For such a beautiful piece with a name like Eternity, there must be a really great story. Care to share?

This one's fit for a queen. It must have gone to an extraordinary person.

Fantastic work in all the pieces here!

Hola!!!
Droma, Suzanne, Peg, Leslie and Sylvia, Dale and Jess!!!
Muchos gracius for all your ever so kind words!! I am so humbled!!
I am spending the day unploading photos of "available" necklaces and eagerly await your input! How wonderful to have such overwhelming support from such great, true friends, it means so much to me you'll never know!
As I have mentioned each and every necklace I create has a story, history and piece of me in it. When I work I go into a deep "dream" zone and I become lost in time....at times beading into the wee hours of the morning, the end result is a piece that comes from a past or present life experience/event. It could be as simple as an inspirational kodak moment in a book I may be reading, a person I may meet or know, a conversation I may have, a poem, a walk in the snow to more complex past historical moments with my precious girls, their words, our lives, my Odyssey, the peoples I met, the places I visited, the experiences I lived, my other lives, my deepest centre thoughts and dreams etc. My work has morphed into my personal creative "life journal". This is why I give each one a name, they become, each and every one, like a child of mine ( well almost!! no worries Jess... nothing could ever supplant my beloved girls!!)!
Henceforth when I get your comments it is hugely moving, humbling and emotional for me.... not to mention inspirational and motivational!! Now you know why my creating jewelry, coupled with the gym, are my chosen "drugs of choice" and why I named my business ccchoices....
"CHOICES ARE THE HINGES OF OUR DESTINY"!!!
I thank you all from my heart...what would we ever do without our beloved friends???

i am in so awe of your work cheryl. i will be finishing up with this year with my degree in business administration. i'm going to get something for myself as a graduation present to myself. i owe it to myself. i won't finish until december, so i have a little time, but we will definitely talk midway in the year about my very own necklace. i had mentioned "shooting star" is my absolute favorite so far, so that gives you an idea of my taste. i remember though that each piece is unique, and there's only one-of-a-kind, which i really like because i won't see mine on anyone else.

hey everyone, see the "sold" sign on "WAH SAN?"--that's because it lives with me now. i am the proud owner of it. it is absolutely so beautiful--even more so in person. cheryl, thanks so much for embracing the creative gift that is within you, and going forth with it. some people let their gifts lie dormant, but i'm so glad you are using yours to make so many people happy and beautiful.

i love my necklace and matching earrings so much. they are "so me." the earrings are so dainty and classy. peridot is my birthstone and along with the other gemstones, the necklace is amazing.

i want to thank you cheryl for all of your help in sizing the necklace, and for everything you've done. this will not be my last "buy." keep on creating. i've said this before, and i'll say it again: i know you've changed your name, but you're still "THE BEADING DIVA."

blessings,
sylvia
